Sengled smart light bulbs require a compatible hub, such as the Sengled Smart Hub, SmartThings Hub, Wink Hub, or Hubitat Hub, which are sold separately. They are not compatible with the Philips Hue bridge system.

Rather than relying on Wi-Fi, these bulbs utilize Zigbee technology to connect to the internet via an Ethernet cable, without being limited by 2.4 or 5 GHz routers. They are compatible with Amazon Echo devices with built-in hubs, like the Echo 4th Gen, Echo Plus, Echo Show 10, and Echo Studio. Additional hubs are required when connecting the smart bulbs to Echo Dot or Google Assistant devices.

To set up the Sengled smart bulb, simply screw it into an E26 socket, then continuously switch the power supply on and off 10 times within 1 minute, and it will be connected. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the bulb after resetting it, then follow the instructions in the app to add the smart light bulb.

These Sengled smart LED light bulbs provide a more stable connection compared to Wi-Fi-based alternatives, as they exclusively support the Zigbee protocol. By connecting to the internet via an Ethernet cable, they are compatible with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz routers, ensuring a reliable performance with most smart home devices equipped with Zigbee hubs.

The voice and group control capabilities of these Sengled smart bulbs allow for hands-free operation using Alexa, Echo, or Google Home Assistant. You can turn the soft white bulb on or off, as well as dim or brighten it, through voice commands. Additionally, you can add up to 64 smart bulbs to the system controlled by the hub.

These dimmable LED bulbs can be remotely controlled and scheduled to turn on or off, or adjust their brightness from 1% to 100%, from anywhere. You can set a countdown timer, such as having the lights turn on at dusk or off at sunrise.

Designed for energy efficiency, the Sengled LED light bulb is a 60-watt equivalent that can save up to 80% of energy compared to traditional incandescent bulbs.
